What is a QR Code?

A QR Code (Quick Response Code) is a two-dimensional barcode that can be quickly scanned by smartphones or QR code readers. It can store various types of data, such as URLs, text, or contact information.

Our products use QR codes as an alternative method to access emergency data. If an NFC-enabled device is not available, or as a backup, the QR code can simply be scanned to retrieve the information.

Scanning QR codes usually requires the camera app or a separate scanner app.
